As I travel around the Las Vegas Valley speaking with people from all walks
of life I am hearing a recurring theme: "The government has dropped the
guise of being of, for and by the people, and is showing it's contempt and
distain for them." The very people elected to represent us are ignoring us
the people. The checks and balances that the constitution lays out very
precisely are being neutralized one by one as an out of control administration
grabs more and more power while most of our elected officials in Congress
stand uselessly by or are complicit in the destruction of America.

Before I dive in, I would like to preface this column with the following: I am running for Congressional Representative of CD1 (click for PDF map) as a Republican because I believe in the “stated” Republican beliefs, however, I realize that the Republicans are just as responsible for the Nation’s ills as the Democrats and to that end, I must say that I am running as an American. As an American I am going to defend the rights, to include, the right to fiscal responsibility, the Constitutional rights of all parties represented in Congressional District 1, as well as the Nation.

I believe that there are much bigger, dangerous issues facing all Americans than the two party system issues that are obfuscating the real issues that will define “what is America” for future generations. This modern “gimme it now, gimme it gratifyingly and who’s thinking of the future” generation will wake up one day, too late and find that they have helped fiscally enslave generations of their future grand children, as well as demeaned or destroyed their… Inalienable Rights, that among these is Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. All because they were lulled into a false state of optimism brought on by a promise of change.
 
I state here, honestly and on the record, before I am attacked with impunity by the ultra left, that my opinions laid out in this website have nothing to do with President Obama the man, but with the Obama administration’s actions to date. And just to be fair the actions of the entire congress, all parties included.
