SAKAKIHARA OUTRAISES FIELD IN CAMPAIGN FOR STATE SENATE DISTRICT 10
Councilman and Navy Officer Has Most Raised and Most Cash on Hand
(Union City, CA) – Campaign finance reports released today in the race for California State Senate District 10 revealed that Democrat Scott Sakakihara has raised the most funds by the latest finance deadline for a total of $399,003.32, and has the most cash on hand out of all the candidates in the race.
During the fundraising period between January 1 and April 18, Sakakihara raised more than all other candidates and has the strongest warchest in the race: his campaign has $188,168.51 in cash on hand—more than double any other candidate’s campaign.
“I’m humbled by every single person who has supported our campaign,” said Scott Sakakihara. “In just a short time, more than 150 people from all walks of life have contributed to our campaign for California’s future. Our message is resonating throughout this district, we have the momentum to win this race, and I am confident that together, on June 2nd, and again in November, we will. And then, we’ll get right to work on our mission to build a California that leaves no one behind.”
